This is a type of floribunda (literally "many-flowering") rose that was developed, in part, by my great-great-uncle Eugene (Gene) Boerner during his long and prolific career at Jackson & Perkins.

Here's a decent summary of him! :)

These particular roses are actually part of a much larger display within the indoor section of Longwood Gardens, located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

This is a dual-overlay image of two 5-step HDR photographs.
